The Lisa Project is an innovative exhibit with a mission to raise awareness on the critical issue of child abuse. Through a multi-sensory journey, visitors are led through various scenarios depicting different facets of child abuse, accompanied by audio narration that offers insights into a child's viewpoint. This immersive experience is carefully crafted to foster a deep understanding of the harsh realities many children endure on a daily basis. Upon completion of the exhibit, visitors receive practical guidance on how to safeguard children and provide support to families within their communities. The genesis of this project was a 911 call placed by a 6-year-old girl during a domestic violence incident, emphasizing the pressing need for proactive measures to combat child abuse. The Lisa Project serves as a condensed adaptation of the original exhibit, offering a succinct yet impactful encounter for a broader audience.

We Can is a self-paced exhibit incorporates visual imagery and interactive displays to assist guests in recognizing actionable steps to bolster the well-being of children and families. Its messaging underscores the importance of cultivating and reinforcing protective factors such as resilience, social and emotional competence, tangible support, knowledge in parenting and child development, and social connections. Furthermore, it emphasizes the intrinsic value of personal engagement and emphasizes that everyone has a role to play in advocating for and supporting children and families.
