In this session, participants will delve into the importance of regulating their own emotions as well as learning and practicing mindfulness techniques.  The discussion will focus on how our thoughts can distract us from the present moment and how mindfulness activities can help us return to the present. Our goal is to ensure that this content is easily understood, maintains a positive tone, and upholds a professional demeanor.

Matthew is currently seeking a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Bellevue University (in process) and has a Bachelor's of Arts in Health Sciences, Bellevue University.  He has experience working with screening clients and providing therapy.
